Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This policy explains which personal data is collected when you use ixezed.com, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and what rights you have over it.
Who is responsible for your data
Mourad Aoudia, sole trader, registered under SIRET number 99112503000015, 77 rue de Fontenoy, 59000 Lille, France.
For any question about this policy or to exercise your rights: privacy@ixezed.com, or 07 67 73 64 12.
What this site sells, and what that changes
IXEZED sells only digital files to be 3D printed. Nothing is shipped.
There is therefore no delivery address, no carrier and no parcel tracking: you are never asked for any of it.
The data collected, and why
- Your email address — collected at the time of the order, to send you your file and your invoice. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Your first and last name, and your billing address — collected at the time of the order, to issue the invoice. Legal basis: a legal accounting obligation.
- Your payment data — handled only by the payment provider you choose. It never reaches us and is not stored by us. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- The record of your waiver of the right of withdrawal — timestamped before every purchase, because the law requires it to be provable. Legal basis: a legal obligation.
- Your account credentials, if you choose to create an account — so that you can find your files again. The account is optional: you can buy without one. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- The message you send through the contact form — to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling your enquiries.
- Your browsing data and cookies — to make the site work and to measure its audience. Legal basis: your consent, except for cookies that are essential to the site working.
No data is used for advertising purposes without your consent. This site carries out no profiling and no automated decision-making, and sends no unsolicited commercial messages.
Who else has access
Your data is never sold or rented. It is passed on only to those who make the shop possible:
- Shopify International Limited (Ireland), which hosts the shop and handles orders, acting as a processor;
- the payment provider you choose when paying, the only recipient of your banking data;
- Cloudflare, which hosts the files offered for download;
- the tax authorities and our accountant, where the law requires it.
How long it is kept
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, a period imposed by law.
- Record of the waiver of the right of withdrawal: 5 years.
- Customer account: for as long as the account exists, then 3 years after the last sign-in.
- Messages sent through the contact form: 3 years after the last exchange.
- Audience measurement cookies: 13 months at most.
Transfers outside Europe
Some providers may process your data outside the European Union. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on an adequacy decision recognizing an equivalent level of protection.
Your rights
You may at any time request:
- access to the data we hold about you;
- its rectification, if it is inaccurate;
- its erasure;
- the restriction of its processing;
- its portability, meaning a copy of it in a readable format;
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without calling into question what was done beforehand.
Write to privacy@ixezed.com. You will receive an answer within one month.
Some data cannot be erased before the end of its statutory retention period: an invoice, for instance, has to be kept for ten years even if you ask for your account to be deleted.
Complaints
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, or file a complaint online at www.cnil.fr.
Cookies
The site sets cookies that are essential to it working — cart, session, security — which do not require your agreement.
The others, in particular those used to measure audience, are only set once you have consented. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
Children's data
This site is not intended for people under 16, and no data concerning them is knowingly collected. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us information, write to us: it will be deleted.
Security
Exchanges with the site are encrypted. No measure is infallible: we advise you not to send us sensitive information through an unsecured channel.
Changes
This policy may be updated, in particular if the processing changes. The date given at the top indicates the latest version.
